Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, plus over 100 high-quality console and PC games. Some speculate that this cancellation of the $1 promo is due to the current Microsoft x Activision Blizzard deal. Xbox Head of Global Communications Kari Perez said, “We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future.” Microsft has now shared a statement with The Verge to confirm that the trial is no longer being offered. After a month, players will be able to either cancel their subscription or continue it but now they will have to pay the standard fee.
